Since 1978: Leader in Drip Irrigation

Novagric (Novedades Agrícolas, S.A.) was born in 1978 in the most arid area of Europe with the idea of creating a new way of producing food. What is now a worldwide problem was our first challenge: to grow crops making the most of the available resources in conditions of water scarcity and extreme climates.

To this end, we developed precision irrigation solutions, installed and promoted drip irrigation systems in Spain and became the leading company in the sector. But the journey had only just begun.

1990: Control and Automation

We learned and grew with the most enterprising and demanding farmers to understand and improve every cultivation process.

During the 80’s we started to make complex headers and manufacture our own drippers, automated equipment, programmers and fertigation systems.

2000: New business lines

We create new lines of business: greenhouses to grow crops 365 days a year and we develop our own technologies to increase the yield of your crops: from reservoirs, air conditioning systems, desalination, etc.

In this way, we help to create the market garden of Europe in Murcia and Almeria (the most competitive intensive agriculture market in the world).

Today we specialise in carrying out integrated projects for controlled environmental agriculture (CEA) and irrigation of woody crops all over the world.

With a team of engineers and the largest assembly team in Spain, we develop projects from idea to implementation with advice and technical support for responsible management of our resources that have a positive impact on the profitability of farmers and the sustainability of the planet.
