Since 1978: Leader in Drip Irrigation

Novagric (Novedades Agricolas, S.A.) was born in 1978 in the driest area of Europe with the idea of creating a new way to produce food. What today is a worldwide problem was our first challenge: to grow crops making the most of the available resources in conditions of water scarcity and extreme climates.

To this end, we developed precision irrigation solutions, installed and promoted drip irrigation systems in Spain and became the leading company in the sector. But the journey had only just begun.

1990: Control and Automation

We learned and grew with the most enterprising and demanding growers to understand and improve each cultivation process.

During the 80’s we started to make complex headers and manufacture our own drippers, automated equipment, programmers and fertigation systems.

2000: New business areas

We create new business lines to grow crops 365 days with protected agriculture structures and we develop our own technologies to increase your crop yields: From reservoirs, greenhouse climate, desalination, etc.

In this way, we help to create the orchard of Europe in Murcia and Almeria (the most competitive market of intensive agriculture).

Integral technology projects

Today we are specialized in carrying out integral projects of high-yield agriculture in greenhouses and irrigation of woody crops all over the world.
