Novagric develops Solidarity Agricultural Projects

NOVAGRIC collaborates with DRAIS Foundation to develop Solidarity Agricultural Projects and teach children to produce their own food.

Hunger is a reality, more than 795 million people in the world do not have enough to eat and 3.1 million children die every year from malnutrition. For more than 30 years Novagric has been investing in the development of Solidarity Agricultural Projects in countries with scarce resources through the DRAIS Foundation, Semilla Solidaria.

DRAIS, a sustainable idea.Agriculture and its technology are the most effective tool to fight underdevelopment With this idea in mind, in 1985 a group of companies dedicated to agriculture and technology, including Novagric, created the NGO DRAIS.  

What does DRAIS do?

DRAIS carries out DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE PROJECTS through the implementation of AGRICULTURAL FACILITIES that allow training, feeding and generation of resources, breaking the cycle of poverty. Companies and collaborating partners can contribute greenhouses, irrigation facilities, seeds and know-how to make these projects a reality.  

Who benefits?

All of these projects are aimed atCHILDRENas the most vulnerable sector but the one with the greatest potential for the future. DRIAS teaches children to generate their own food and to have the means of production to reach a level of development that allows them to have a dignified life.
