NOVAGRIC Projects
Greenhouses for Vegetable Growing in Côte d'Ivoire
Côte d’Ivoire is one of West Africa’s leading agricultural powers. Agriculture is the economic engine in terms of both production and employment, accounting for 23% of GDP and employing almost 50% of the country’s population.
In recent years, the primary agricultural sector has been developing and growing with the aim of achieving food self-sufficiency in a country whose population is estimated at 25 million and is growing steadily.
With this challenge in mind, Novagric has implemented a greenhouse project for professional vegetable production in the Ivory Coast.
This greenhouse will produce tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini and other vegetables using the soilless hydroponic cultivation method to make the most of water resources and unleash the potential of the Ivorian country.
