Novakit is Novagric’s connectivity solution for irrigation, fertigation, and climate control equipment.
Formerly known as Kit Vigía, Novakit allows you to set up your system so that the equipment can communicate properly with the controller, provide remote access, and operate seamlessly within Novagric’s digital ecosystem.

Thanks to this connectivity, your equipment can send data and integrate with agricultural management platforms such as Ucrop.

What is NovaKit used for?

Novakit makes it easy to connect Novagric equipment online so you can manage your facility remotely.
Depending on the characteristics of your farm, you can choose from different connectivity options:

  • If you have internet access at the property.

  • If you don’t have internet access but you do have a SIM card.

  • If you don’t have internet access or a SIM card.

This way, each facility can choose the option that best suits its specific circumstances, making it easier to get up and running.

Choose the plan that’s right for you

NovaKit RED

For properties that already have internet access.

This is the simplest and most reliable option when the property already has internet access via a router, a local network, or an existing connection.

  • Activating the device for online connection.

  • Installation of the communication system required to connect to the property’s network.

  • Access to the Ucrop platform.

  • Labor associated with installation and commissioning.

NovaKit RURAL

For properties without internet access but with a SIM card available.

A flexible, standalone solution for areas without internet access, the device includes a modem designed to work with your SIM card, enabling the system to connect to the internet.

  • Activating the device for online connection.

  • Setting up a modem without a SIM card.

  • Access to the Ucrop platform.

  • Labor associated with installation and commissioning.

NovaKit RURAL+

For properties without internet access or a SIM card.

This allows you to connect the system when there is no connection available on the property. The unit comes with a modem and a SIM card included.

  • Activating the device for online connection.

  • Modem with SIM card included.

  • Access to the Ucrop platform.

  • Labor associated with installation and commissioning.

Novakit incorporates and streamlines the functionality previously associated with the Starnet controller’s Vigía Kit, particularly in terms of connectivity, online access, and device communication.

Novakit does not control the irrigation system itself; instead, this is handled by the installed controller, which manages the operation of the irrigation, fertigation, or climate control equipment. Novakit is the connectivity solution that enables that controller to communicate online and integrate with digital platforms such as Ucrop.

Ucrop is the platform used to digitally manage irrigation, climate control, and fertigation.

Novakit helps connect the equipment, and Ucrop allows users to manage and view information in a digital environment.

This combination enables a more convenient, connected, and organized management of the facility, especially on farms where remote control and data monitoring are becoming increasingly important.

If your farm already has internet access, Novakit RED is usually the best option, since it uses the farm’s existing connection.

If the property doesn’t have internet, there are two possibilities.

  1. If you can provide a SIM card, the right choice is Novakit RURAL
  2. If you don’t have internet access or a SIM card, the best option would be Novakit RURAL+.

Yes, with the Novakit RURAL plan, the customer provides their own SIM card to connect the device.

Novakit’s compatibility depends on the device model, the controller version, and the current communications configuration.
If your installation already includes Starnet, Kit Vigía, or an older Xilema device, we recommend checking the version of the controller, card, converter, or any additional components.
