How does it work?

Sunlight enters the greenhouse

Incoming light reaches the Voltiris spectral filter installed inside the greenhouse.

Crop-relevant light is transmitted

The light frequencies needed for crop growth pass through the filter and continue into the greenhouse.

Unused light is reflected

The remaining frequencies are reflected and concentrated onto small solar cells integrated into the module.

Renewable energy is generated

The solar cells convert this portion of sunlight into electricity, helping power the greenhouse while making better use of the available solar resource.

    Pilot project in Spain

    Novagric has already installed and tested Voltiris technology in a real greenhouse project at a client site in Mazarrón, Spain.
