Novagric has carried out an irrigation design and installation project for outdoor Pistachio production.

Pistachio is a high value woody plant that does not require a large water supply to obtain quality fruit, but a good irrigation design is the key. to achieve an efficient supply of water and nutrients according to their stage of development and to achieve an efficient and more profitable production.

For this project Novagric has carried out a thorough hydraulic calculation and design of the tailor-made system taking into account several factors to develop the root system to the maximum and obtain quality fruits:
– Plant physiology: to know what water consumption it needs
– Climatic conditions: of the farm and time of the year
– Soil characteristics: since it is a limiting and invariable factor.
